Hi folks, looking for an app that would run on my Fedora (browser is fine as well) where I’d be able to draw some technical drawings and that I could learn faster than full featured autocad-like apps – I suppose vector-based drawing would be enough for me, but if it was easy enough and would support 3d models, that would be even better. To imagine how complex projects I’m going to draw – garden house, dog house, a table… Any tips where should I take a look?
Hello @hhorak ,
I use the following apps in my CADD work … FreeCad, OpenScad, and LibreCad. FreeCad is very much a paramectric cad drawing system like Acad is. LibreCad is similar with less features, and OpenScad is my go to since it is usable to coders. For graphics in general I use Gimp and Inkscape, and TextStudio for my manual publications.
