Bug in Disk Encryption

My Android emulator crashes from time to time, soevery time the emulator crashes and becomes a zombie (due to my own error of not stopping the server before stopping the emulator), the computer has to restart.

Today, I noticed that during a reboot where a stop job has failed (in this case a stop job on watchman), the reboot does not require me to re-enter my encryption password and boots into the system without a problem.

To recreate the issue, crash an android emulator somehow, and restart the computer from the menu or by typing ‘restart’ inside search and press ‘enter’.

Can you verify you are using LUKS encryption?

You can do this, lsblk see if your drive is:

md127
