Is bluetooth loaded as a module (e.g. lsmod grep blue)?

What do the kernel logs say, if this is from boot, look for boot logs mentioning missing firmware or device errors. Scroll through journalctl -b for clues.

What does bluetoothctl say? bluetoothctl should list the adapter if the driver is loaded.

Double check it’s not blocked by software or hardware, e.g. rfkill

Some laptops (including mine) have bluetooth die on suspend, but you don’t specify if this is a general or specific issue
