Actually the wl-kmod source package, which provides the akmod-wl and kmod-wl binary packages, has been upgraded to version 6.30.223.271-53.fc40.x86_64. This is from the Aug. 22. changelog:
- Fix warning empty body in if statement - kernel 6.10
- Add max_scan_ie_len in order to make wpa_supplicant 2.11 scans not to fail - RFBZ#7030
- SPEC file add bcond to build for current kernel and akmod.
It was expected that the fix could only come from RPM Fusion.
