I installed a gnome grub theme in gnome and I believe this is when i realized the brightness controls were not working when toggling to make it bright. When going into the settings i’m able to toggle the keyboard as it works but adjusting the slider doesn’t work either. It seems to be set on auto.
i removed the theme and sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
and it worked but after a restart it reverted back to not working. Please advise.
