(Edit: is this a limitation of SDDM, which will be resolved with the introduction of PLM in F44?)
As the title suggests, I cannot adjust my laptop’s screen brightness using a key combination which works when logged in, on the lock screen. This, however, is limited only to cold boots or reboots. Upon waking from suspend, or unlocking the laptop if it was locked, I can adjust the brightness just like if I am logged in.
Is this Fedora-specific, or KDE-related? If the latter, I will post on the KDE forum.
In GNOME, I used to be able to adjust screen brightness after a cold boot or a reboot, without logging in (I have not, however, tried Fedora GNOME on my laptop, I went straight to KDE). I had used Ubuntu, Zorin OS and Pop!_OS GNOME, and on all three distros, this functionality was present.
