Brave Browser Won't Print But Firefox Will

I’m on Fedora 43 KDE using the RPM version of the Brave Browser following the instructions on their site. It’s a Brother Laser Printer and at first I tried using the provided printer driver, then IPP Everywhere Driver. Now I’m using the driver provided by the printer-driver-brlaser package on the Fedora repository. None of them worked with Brave.

I can see the printer in the Brave print dialogue. If i press print, nothing happens. Nothing gets sent to the queue. If i press print using system dialogue it works but without any of the changes I made to the print in the brave browser. I tried using Firefox with the driver from the printer-driver-brlaser package and it worked fine. It was able to print without any issue using the Firefox browser print dialogue.

Google’s AI answer suggested it might have something to do with Wayland sandboxing? I have no idea if that has anything to do with it just something it suggested.

No such thing as wayland sandboxing that I’m aware of.

Is brave an rpm or a flatpak? If flatpak could be flatpak sabdboxing.

It’s the rpm version I installed using the instructions on the Brave website.
