I’m not sure if anyone can help me out but I’m willing to try everything!
The headphones are supposed to work via cable and bluetooth on (to activate noise-cancelling) but as soon as I turn them on, the headphones go silent.
Any idea?

Most headphones I have used can use either cable or bluetooth, but seldom both at the same time. Trying both at the same time usually confuses the audio system in the PC since it now has 2 different devices to choose from.
Try with either wired, or bluetooth, and not both.
