Boot space on disk

I am unable to download updates on Fedora 43 due to following error message:
Error running transaction: installing package kernel-core-6.17.7-300.fc43.x86_64 needs 41MB more space on the /boot filesystem.
Which tool could I use to resize my /boot filesystem?
Thanks

Systems with <=1 GB /boot partition may see "need more space" error during system update

What would be the easiest way to expand the boot filesystem space? I did uninstall the oldest kernel version which allowed me to update the system.

Boot with a live USB,
use a tool such as Gnome disks or gparted to shrink your main partition and expand your boot partition.

Is there is likely not an easy way to enlarge the /boot partition

Much easier are the following options:

  • remove the rescue kernel
  • reduce the numbers of kernels the system keeps.

Of course this isn’t as good as increasing /boot, but it may buy you some time …
