Bluetooth audio works in Boxes but not direct

Hi, in trying to get my Plantronics Focus headphones to work glitchfree on a Linux box I tried many different possibilities, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian with pipewire and pulseaudio, all sorts of quantum and sample rate settings and all had glitches in sound. Phones work perfectly on Android, I cannot test Windows.

So as Android is Linux based it must work somehow.

As a last resort I looked at Archlinux, for some reason I have never tried it, so ran it up on a Fedora 40 Box and discovered USB devices can be attached so I plugged in the cheapo Cambridge BT dongle and tried it.

Voila! It works seamlessly, perfect audio even on APTX-LL or SBC HQ.

So anyone that wants to listen to glitchfree music all ya have to do is:
install Boxes,
install Arch linux on the box,
plugin in an external USB BT dongle (even the dreaded Cambridge Audio),
attach it in Devices and Shares,
pair your headphones to the VM BT,
copy your music files to the VM and hit play.

No settings required in pipewire, just works.
Simple huh!

I am using Dell 7140 Pro tablets with 8GB ram, regular updates. F40 kernel is 6.10.6, latest updated everything. Archlinux kernel 6.10, latest net install.
