Black Screen external monitor after reboot Fedora 42 KDE Wayland

Hi, i just installed Fedora 42 KDE and everything works fine. However when i reboot my laptop, my external monitor has a black screen. I need to unplug my hdmi port and replug it to get it to work. I do see it correctly in the display settings and have unchecked and checked the enable button but that doesn’t help. My laptop has an integrated AMD gfx cardand an nvidia gpu. I do not have this issue with other linux distro’s however these are not kde or wayland distro’s. Nor did i had this in Windows. I hope my information is as complete as possible and hope someone can help me out.

I have a somewhat similar problem as well, except unplugging and re-plugging doesn’t fix it

what i do now is disable and enable my external monitor. 90% of the times i have to do this 2 times to get it working again… it sucks but i have found no other solution

Experiencing same behaviour. I have to physically unplug my HDMI. I have a 3rd monitor connected via usb-c and that works just fine on startup.

My laptop is a G15 Zephyrus (AMD CPU + Nvidia GPU)

After upgrading to kernel 6.14.9 and 6.14.10 the external monitors do not work at all. Kernel 6.14.8 works fine.

Intel 10th gen + NVIDIA 1660 TI

I basically now have to start by plugging in my Thunderbolt Dock into the Laptop (which has two monitors connected & I have to plug and unplug a few times). Then connect my 3rd via HDMI. Login to the Desktop. Close my laptop lid. Then I have all three monitors the way I want them, but I can’t put them to sleep or else i’ll lose the 3rd monitor again
