My /etc/fstab for reference:
UUID=3194dff3-054c-4207-a389-80cecdcb9f97 / btrfs subvol=root,compress-force=zstd:1,commit=120 0 0
UUID=263800d6-ddc6-4856-a28c-6ddd786c1acc /boot ext4 defaults 1 2
UUID=52EB-8F29 /boot/efi vfat umask=0077,shortname=winnt 0 2
UUID=3194dff3-054c-4207-a389-80cecdcb9f97 /home btrfs subvol=home00,compress-force=zstd:1,commit=120 0 0

Expected behaviour:
Bind mounting source directory in /etc/fstab succeeds even if target directory is a default quick-access directory.
/mnt/data/jacob/Dokumenter /home/Jacob/Dokumenter none bind 0 0
Actual behaviour:
After altering /etc/fstab to bind mount a directory from a separate data drive to one of the default quick-access directories in ~/ on the system drive, machine will fail to boot. System is unable to access /home until the bind mount is removed from /etc/fstab. I had to boot from a live usb to revert my changes to /etc/fstab.
If instead, a new directory is made in ~/, system will not complain at all even if this new directory is later added to Dolphin’s quick access menu. I can even remove the original quick access directory and rename the new bind mounted directory to the same name as the original quick access directory had, without issue.
/mnt/data/jacob/Dokumenter /home/Jacob/Docs none bind 0 0
So, why is it that the workaround works, but the expected method does not?
I just want to quickly and easily access stuff on my data drive.
