I started the backup but I’m getting this error, but my internal and external HDDs both have 1TB, and the external HDD is empty.
Can you translate the error message please?
Wild guess what disk is the backup folder on?
The message says:
The backup location is very small. Try to use a location with at least 6.9TB.
@binhojacome can you show us the outputs of

However, I can copy and paste files without any problems.
Thanks (I added the pre-fommated tags for you).
What disk is the folder that you are are creating the backup on?
Your /home is basically full. You need to create some free space.
Do I assume you want to backup to empty disk /dev/sdb1?
This disk is a bit smaller then your /home.
Yes, the disk is empty. I understand, I’ll resize the partition.
Do you have unallocated disk space to add to /home?
If not there is nothing to resize.
When this happens to me I look for tmp files and old projects to delete.
No. I’ll copy and paste it then.
