Auto dimming screen in KDE plasma

Hi,
I am using fedora with kde in my laptop which has an external monitor (LG TV). In my external monitor, it dims when i watch darker content and it get bright when i watch lighter content. This only happens in this external monitor and not happen in gnome. I did:

1- disabled Dim Automatically in Power Management

2- change settings to “[Service] Environment=POWERDEVIL_NO_DDCUTIL=1" in “systemctl --user edit plasma-powerdevil.service”

But still same. Please help.

My specs:
DE: KDE Plasma 6.4.5
Host: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15
Kernel: Linux 6.17.4-200.fc42.x86_64
CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-13420H (12) @ 4.60 GHz
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Max-Q / Mobile [Discrete]
GPU 2: Intel UHD Graphics @ 1.40 GHz [Integrated]

Sounds like what HDR does?
try disabling HDR for that monitor?

Hi Thanks for replying.
Both screens are not HDR support.

Okay, guys. I found that this dimming issue occurs in gnome also but in a low amount compared to kde. :face_exhaling:
