Whenever I boot into my computer, the sound works but, when I plug my headphones in, after a few minutes, the sound stops working, and then when I unplug them, it says no audio or input devices found on my computer. Is there a fix for this? I am on the kernel 6.17.5. It started happening after I installed the new kernel. I have also tried rebooting and restarting pipewire and they both don’t work.
There have been some bugs and weird issues with wireplumber and pipewire over that last few months. I would encourage you to file a bug at bugzilla.redhat.com so we can eventually pin them down.
There was a downgrade command for possibly wireplumber, but that likely won’t work as you are on 43 and the probably the lowest wireplumber version.
You can always boot from another kernel or downgrade your kernel to see if the problem surfaces under another kernel.

pls post output of inxi -Fxxz as preformatted text ‘</>’ and
run sudo alsa-info.sh | fpaste and post the URL here.
Then replicate the issue and post the output of
journalctl -b --user -u wireplumber --no-hostname --no-pager also as preformatted text.
Does audio work if you don’t connect the headphones but continue to use the built-in speakers?
I had the same issue
I use a USB audio card for audio output. After rebooting, there is sound, but after 30 seconds or a minute, the sound disappears When I select sound from the built-in speakers or via HDMI - the sound appears
“pactl list sinks short” shows that all audio card are SUSPENDED
I had commented out lines in wireplumber.conf as suggested there Reddit - The heart of the internet
