Hey, I am testing F36 beta on Thinkpad x1 carbon 9th gen, and I have found a regression with audio and video after some hours of usage. If I restart it, it works normally, but after some hours of usage it starts to break. It throttles, both audio and video all over the system (firefox, web, vlc, settings→sound→test, etc.).
I should probably file a bug…
I have the same laptop but I was having some issues with hardware acceleration when I used the live disc yesterday.
If you run sudo dnf install intel-gpu-tools and then run sudo intel_gpu_tools, try playing a video in VLC and see if it’s using the Video acceleration in gpu tools.
