kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org is a mirror from ostree.fedoraproject.org, it is used as a backend (origin) to the cloudfront proxy that is listed here: https://ostree.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist (https://d2uk5hbyrobdzx.cloudfront.net/)

In the end, when reaching https://d2uk5hbyrobdzx.cloudfront.net/ you end up getting the content from the Kojipkgs, but that serves as a proxy that caches content preventing most of the traffic to reach the Kojipkgs (and preserving its resources).

That’s why we shouldn’t abuse that workaround. Use it, make your update and then revert back and wait until the issue is normalized. The Fedora Infrastructure team is actively investigating and working on it.

Its still an issue for now. Maybe somebody disconnected the server?? LOL
Anyway the issue persists on two Kinoite installs for me.

Took a bunch of tries just to get logged into Discussions here, so maybe there’s some more expansive problem?

Either way, a week is a long time to wait for updates to work. I’m pretty new to Fedora in general, is there an official place for outages/updates on things like this?

I didn’t notice the issue until today. I was able to upgrade just fine yesterday and the day before but today was first impacted.

rpm-ostree update --preview does not work for me anymore.
