i3status-rs is a feature-rich and resource-friendly replacement for i3status, written in pure Rust. It provides a way to display "blocks" of system information (time, battery status, volume, etc) on the i3 bar. It is also compatible with sway.

Thanks for maintaining this! Any chance you could generate a build with the maildir block enabled? Apparently it now has to specifically be enabled at build time.

Here are 2 improvement proposals:

  • make the package conflict with i3status-rs with Conflicts
  • build and install manpage
