Hi guys. I just bought a new Asus Vivobook Flip. Everything works except for the sound. I keep getting Dummy output. I have installed the beta version of Fedora 45 Workstation and also did all the updates hoping that would fix the issue, but it didn’t. Does anyone have a solution for this? I am new to Linux but I am willing to learn more. Thanks.

It looks like some already reported the bug to Bugzilla but no fix has been found yet.
You could try loading the newer firmware from updates-testing to see if there are any changes. Making sure you're not a bot!
I have tried to install it via terminal but it won’t let me

Probably we dont have the drivers for this speakers.
External headphones might work properly.
Maybe try this wokraround
Thanks guys. Seems like I have to wait for a kernel unfortunatelly. Bluetooth headphones and speaker work perfectly, its just that the internal speakers on the laptop don’t work.

I didn’t see the log information comment.
There’s a workaround listed in the report if you want to try it.
I followed the steps but the sound won’t work. However, it did bring the microphone back to life.
