+1 Thanks!

@psklenar Since the first test period starts this Monday (17 Aug) I’ve completed the editing (mostly formatting and setting external links) and published your article. This will give readers interested in participating starting on Monday some lead time.

Fridays and Mondays are two of our normal publication days and I felt Monday was late.

Thanks for you article.

One question/observation: do you think that folks will remember to check in for the subsequent tests or would doing several more focused articles help drive more participation? We are happy to publish whatever you desire, just a thought that came to my mind.

Thanks for publishing it so quickly, it’s great to have it out before the GNOME 51test day.

Good question. The main goal of this article was to show people that test days exist, link them to the Forge tickets so they can follow or propose their own, and get the community involved. That’s why I put the GNOME 51 dates first and left Forge links for the rest.

I think writing a separate article for the biggest events (like RPM 6.1 or install media) could bring more testers. But I wouldn’t want to write one for every test day – too many similar articles and people stop reading them. Maybe one or two more? or different approach?

Too many articles may have a deadening effect, true. We’ll leave it to your discretion.
