Orange Pi 5 Max reporting that suspend does not appear to be working.
The device goes to sleep, LED turns red, but then cannot be woken via keyboard nor mouse movement
Physically pressing the button on the device appears to boot from scratch, not a resume, so the device essentially fully shuts down if you have suspend enabled in any way at the moment
Your report here doesn’t really contain much actionable information. The best thing you could do is try to find out what software update broke it and then narrow down on the diff between good and first bad.
Our builds browser has previously released builds and info on package changes. The testing-devel stream would have the most builds with the most granular changes.
Hi Dusty Mabe, thanks for the reply. I am a novice user, and especially to Fedora, literally first time user in that regard. I am a first time installer of the distro and wasn’t sure where to begin
My apologies if I posted in the wrong area
I’m guessing the device could be manually put to sleep with a command from the CLI and then I could paste any relevant logs if that would help! Just need guidance on where to find those
Thanks either way though, I appreciate the reply!
Are you running Fedora CoreOS? You posted it in the coreos-wg discussion?

That’s most definitely a mistake, I think I couldn’t find where to post the KDE stuff and it forced me to choose a tag so I thought it was “core OS problem” .. clearly my mistake, sorry about that
