Apps stop responding to mouse input on wayland

Hi! Since a few months I run my new laptop with fedora 37. Since the beginning I’m forced to run it on X, because wayland isn’t working: I can login and GNOME itself is responding well. I can start any App (Firefox, Libre writer…) and after one click it isn’t reacting on my mouse input (clicks, scroll, even hovering links doesn’t do anything).

Keyboard is still working, though.

This happens only with GNOME wayland, GNOME X isn’t affected. I also tried SWAY which is also working fine.

I’m running F37 on all my machines and only this one is affected. It’s an Framework-Laptop with an 12th gen Intel.

Does anyone know a fix or some log-files to investigate the problem further?

I have the same thing happening on my AMD Framework 13 with Fedora 39 + KDE Plasma (Wayland). It seems to especially happen when running VirtualBox. Did you make any progress on the issue? So far a restart is the only thing that fixes it.
