Just completed a fresh install of Fedora 42 (long time Fedora user, so really nice to see this update).
My only feedback would be changing region at the beginning from US to United Kingdom should also change the keyboard layout to GB - but clunky to have to change it manually.
Other than that, lovely!
I make it different, I do use US language and just change the keyboard to pt_BR. For this it is handy being able to make it separately and already while setting up. Would be messy to make it after the installation manually in the settings. Especially if you use LUKS and need to know which key is displaying which character.
As you can see, someones happiness could be the others pain or viz versa.
English and Americans - why did you ever split into two separate nations? - it would be easier to understand the language coding in Fedora xD

I completely agree but the default keyboard layout by language / region should also change the default keyboard layout and if you want something different then you can update it.
There is a lot more than two versions of English in the world!
