After in place upgrade to Fedora 43 beta from Fedora 42, G'MIC doesn't show up

This was working fine prior to the upgrade. Both Gimp and G’MIC-gimp were originally installed via dnf from the standard fedora repos. After upgrading to f43 beta, Gimp isn’t showing G’MIC in the list of available filters but the gmic-gimp package still shows as installed.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

It seams not be ready for Fedora 43 beta yet ? A new version is available:

Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream.

I think the problem is that the package is putting the plugin in the wrong folder. I solved it by copying the file to the user configuration directory.

cp /usr/lib64/gimp/3.0/plug-ins/gmic_gimp_qt/gmic_gimp_qt/gmic_gimp_qt /home/user/.config/GIMP/3.0/plug-ins/gmic_gimp_qt/
