After changing ram, laptop does't wake up after "long" suspend

Hi, as the title says, my Laptop (HP Pavilion 14 ec0000nl) does’t wake up from suspend (after closing the lid). It does wake up if i re-open it in less than ~10 seconds but it does not if it stays closed for longer.

A weird behavior I noticed is that the first time I open the lid, and it does not wake up, the light on power button pulses as if it was still suspended, if then I close and open again the lid, the light becomes fixed.

All started after two different actions, a RAM upgrade and F41 → F42 upgrade

Does anyone have an idea of what may be happened? In case I can provide journalctl logs (even if they stop after enetering in suspend state s2idle)

Until now I’ve tried:

  • Clean install of F42 and F43
  • Tried different kernels (6.14.6, 6.16.7, 6.16.8, 6.16.9, 6.17)
  • Increased the swapfile

Thank you

Try rolling back these actions, one by one.

I would like to leave it as the last option. I would like to troubleshoot and understand what is not working
