Add Calendar Widget to Desktop in Gnome?

New to Linux and just installed Fedora Workstation 43 with the Gnome desktop environment.

How do you get the desktop to show a calendar widget from gnome-calendar?

A cursory search said I have to install gDesklets from the software manager but apparently it can’t be found on the repository anymore.

For reference, I used to run Rainlendar on Windows and when it is active, Rainlendar shows up on the desktop. (I prefer not to use Rainlendar on Linux as it is no longer open source.)

Not sure but you may want to check the extension manager and see whats in there. Widgets and gnome is not usually a thing, they tend to have more of a clean ascetic.
