Add another GNOME Desktop application grouping

My default GNOME desktop has one “Utilities” group. This group has the ability to be renamed. And other applications can be drag-and-drop added to this dialog. I recently did a ‘group install’ of the Electronic Lab, and if I live to be a 100 I will never be able to explore all the great stuff in this group. It would be nice, however, if I could find some way to spawn another desktop group to contain these applications. Can someone venture to tell me if this might be feasible?

You can group apps with drag and drop in overview mode.

Could you please elaborate? How is the new group formed?

Drag one app icon over the other and they should create a new group.

Grouping apps with CLI is also possible: HowDoI/AppFolders - GNOME Wiki!

Ah, yes, I believe you have the solution! Thank you.
