Before i start; its not about preventing/inhibit the screensaver … it should do the work and disable
the display to save energy. Its about the way back …
For supporting a user with disabilities I’m searching a way/solution to reactivate the display/screen/monitor when it is in the “save energy mode”, and this reactivation should be possible remotly via
command line (I’m logged in via SSH).
A normal user on side would just a hit key on the keyboard and the gnome workspace would appear (password disabled). Any way to do this via CLI remotely? Via DBUS or similar interfaces?
I think its a quite special requirement here
