Sorry if this is kind of off-topic, but have you considered using the date/time formatting built into Discourse to allow for automatic tz conversion for users? It should make it easier.
e.g. [date=2026-03-30 time=15:00 timezone=UTC] turns into 2026-03-30T15:00:00Z.
The meeting announcements are ‘cross-posted’ manually both here and to the mailing list, so it’s not so easy to do that, as that formatting would be useless to the mailing list post. It’s nice, though, thanks for the suggestion. I might try and see if it’s not too much of a pain to do that section independently in each announcement in future.
