- Fedora Hatch at SCaLE 23x: A Fedora Hatch event is taking place on March 6th as part of the SCaLE 23x conference in Southern California.
- Fedora in Syria: As of February 10, 2026, Fedora is now officially available in Syria, which is considered a significant win for inclusion.
- Documentation Translations: Fedora Documentation translations are temporarily unavailable starting March 4th due to the Localization Team’s migration to Fedora Forge.
- Fedora Council Strategy Summit: Daily briefings and summaries from the recent summit in Tirana, Albania are available for review.
- Fedora Mentor Summit 2026: The planning team will meet in March. Proposals for a Stickers Match session, Mentor Mentee Lunch Matching, and a Contributor Recognition Award ceremony have been submitted for Flock.
- DEI Repo Migration: The migration of the main DEI repo and the accessibility repo to Fedora Forge is still pending a technical fix.
- Age Verification Laws: A discussion was held regarding new age verification laws in places like California and their potential impact on Fedora. Concerns were raised about privacy, harm to marginalized youth seeking information, and whether Fedora should comply with such local laws. The EFF’s stance against age verification was cited as a key resource.
