This meeting focused on two things:

  • Appreciation Week prep: Scheduling CommBlog story articles, posting to announce@lists.fp.o list, scheduling / planning social media coverage
  • F29 => F30 ticket triage: Triaged some tickets, had extensive discussion on mailing list => Discourse (decided to archive mailing list on Wednesday, Nov. 14th)

@jwf I just skimmed the log because I was curious about the ML → Discourse transition from this teams viewpoint.

And I just wanted to say that I agree with the sentiment shared there: the interactions here feel easier, more people are chiming in on older threads and it’s much easier to peek in on what other teams are doing.

My primary interests are Silverblue and CoreOS (immutable hosts FTW!) and I think we are gaining good use of the Discourse site in both places (Silverblue taking the lead here, though).

So just a long way of saying +1 to retiring the ML. Cheers! :smile:
