2012 Macbook Pro - Fedora compatibility?

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro in nice condition with plenty of life left hardware wise. I made a Fedora 43WS installer, connected and ran live OS, but the WiFi doesn’t seem to be working. In settings it doesnt even mention wifi at all. Does this mean it won’t work, or might it work if I actually go ahead and install Fedora on the internal drive rather than use live OS? I am not up to speed on this sort of stuff, and it will be a pain not to have wifi (everything else appears to be working fine).

Worst case I assume there are WiFi USB dongles I could consider using if absolutely necessary, but if anyone can advise I’d be grateful.

Sorry. I found the search function!
